Narasimha Parvatha, also known as the Agumbe peak, is portion of the popular “Agumbe – Sringeri” trekking path. Narasimha Parvatha is situated 826 meters above sea level, Narasimha Parvatha is the tallest peak (roughly 3780 feet) in Agumbe Ghats. The vision from this peak is spectacular. You can see the numerous soft hues of the beautiful sky during sunset. The sunrise is also charming. The striking Kudremukh ranges are also noticeable from the top of hill.
Narasimha Parvatha is also a perfect location for Trekking in Chikmagalur. You need to have a Walking stick, Hiking shoes, Woolen clothes, Water, Juices, Snacks, Electric Torch, Medical kit, a good compass and an additional pair of clothes to trek at Narasimha Parvatha. It usually takes 4 to 5 hours to reach the peak from Kigga.
